Sealite Awarded Marine Manufacturer of the Year
The Hon Tim Holding, Minister for Manufacturing and Export, presented Sealite with the prestigious 'Marine Manufacturer of the Year Award' in recognition of the outstanding contribution made to the marine sector and Victorian economy. The award was to mark Victorian Marine Week, and was hosted by the Boating Industry Association of Victoria.
The Marine Manufacturer of the Year is in recognition of Sealite as an established world leader in the production of solar LED marine lanterns and buoys. Sealite's global presence has generated significant export income and furthered the technical skills within the local economy.
Sealite has the largest range of solar LED marine lights available, and the product line now encompasses inland and offshore marine buoys and related equipment. The company is the only manufacturer to incorporate an internal GPS-Synchronisation system to 5nm and 6nm marine lights, now being widely adopted by Ports throughout the world. . In addition, Sealite products are on constant display at the Powerhouse Museum of Science and Technology in Sydney, Australia.
