Sealite’s Big Buoys Mark the Way at Dighi Port, India

Sealite has supplied ocean buoys fitted with GPS flash synchronisation lanterns to mark the channel to the Dighi Port in Maharashtra, Dighi, India.

The complete buoy order, including 13x Trident-3000, 10x Nautilus-2200 and 5x SLB1250 buoys fitted with GPS lanterns was executed in 75 days from the time of order, including manufacturing at Sealite, shipment, erection and commissioning in India.

Sealite Shows Port Kembla the Bright Light

Sealite’s versatility and ingenuity provides an extra bright solution for the special leading lights required by Port Kembla.

The SL96 leading lights provided were self contained and Sealite’s Power Calculator was used to determine the solar conditions to find the most suitable solar panel and battery size to power the lights.

The Sealite Power Calculator is an easy to use software tool to assist with the appropriate sizing of Sealite products to ensure they are suitable for local conditions.

Barwon Heads, Australia

Sealite Lights Up the Wreck of the HMAS Canberra

Sealite Nautilus-2200 and Poseidon-1750 ocean buoys are marking the recently scuttled HMAS Canberra. Located off Barwon Heads in Victoria, the wreck is now a popular dive site and artificial reef.

Four Sealite Poseidon-1750 buoys and two Nautilus-2200 buoys have been positioned around the site, fitted with RF synchronization to clearly mark its perimeter. Parks Victoria asset managers can receive alarms and status reports direct to their cell phones, or daily updates via Sealite’s web portal with the addition of GPS & GSM monitoring systems.

Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela

200x SLC600 AIS Enabled Lanterns Increase Safety in Lake Maracaibo

Sealite Distribution Partner, Construcciones Taromar, has undertaken one of the largest AIS (Automatic Identification System) projects consisting of 200x AIS fitted SLC600 self-contained 5-8nm lights installed on buoys in Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela. The project was undertaken by the Instituto Nacional Canalizaciones, which is the National Channel Authority.

The project represents one of the world’s largest AIS-AtoN deployments to date.

JSW Jaigarah Port, India

Sealite Nautilus-2200 Buoys installed at JSW Jaigarah Port, India

Sealite’s distributor, Aeromarine Equipments Supply, India, undertook supply and installation of 5 x red and 4 x green Nautilus 2.2 mtr buoys complete with SL125-1 LED Lanterns for JSW Jaigarah Port, India. The buoys will be used as lateral markers for a new channel.

Moreton Bay, Australia

Maritime Safety Queensland finds SL60 operating after three weeks underwater!

As a testament to Sealite’s IP68 waterproof rating a SL60 Solar Marine Lantern was still found to be operational after spending nearly a month submerged in 5 meters of water.

Maritime Safety Queensland were amazed when they retrieved the lantern and it was still operational after such a long time submerged underwater!

Sealite Lanterns have an IP rating of IP68, the highest waterproof rating for lanterns required by the marine industry.

Sealite Leads the Way in Swanson Dock

The Port of Melbourne Corporation has installed 58 sets of Sealite SL96 4ft LED leading lights and power systems around Swanson Dock and the adjacent “Turning/Swing Basin”. Some of the Sealite SL96 leading lights have replaced existing flurotubes which were not considered bright enough.

Solar-Powered LED Area Light Jacob’s Well Queuing Pontoon & East Arm Boat Ramp, Australia
